少し前、モネ展に行ってきました。最終日だったので、すごい人の列でした。モネの作品は、淡い色使いと繊細なタッチ、その日常を切り取る、行ったこともないその土地に、あたかも訪れたような、、そんな感覚に陥る、素敵で魅力的な作品が多く、あまり混んで居なければ何時間でも見ていたい、そんな作品が多々ありました。特に、有名ですが、積みわらが好きで、本物を見れた事はただうれしく、魅入られてしまいました。
その後、上野公園を散歩してると早咲きの桜や梅が咲いており、春の足音を感じました。お昼に、お友達が勧めていた立ち食いお鮨のお店に行き、みはしのあんみつをお土産に買って帰りました。
上野は、動物園や美術館、美味しいご飯屋さんやカフェが多く、魅力的な街だと認識させられました。また行こう。

A while ago, I visited the Monet exhibition. It was the last day of the exhibition, so there was a huge line of people. Monet's works, with their light colors and delicate touch, capture everyday life, and make you feel as if you are visiting a place you have never been before. I was especially fascinated by the famous piles of straw, and I was so happy to see the real thing.
Afterwards, I took a walk in Ueno Park, where the early cherry and plum blossoms were in bloom, and I felt the footsteps of spring. For lunch, I went to a standing sushi restaurant recommended by a friend and bought a mihashi-anmitsu (sweet bean paste) as a souvenir.
