There is a saying, "A great player is not a great coach."
When great players becomes a coach, they cannot understand that their players cannot do what they could easily do himself when they were working.
The conclusion is not to teach too much.
Because the players, subordinates, and students will stop devising things on their own.
It is important to experience the pleasure of being able to do something that cannot be done by devising and making efforts on one's own.
It is thus important to wait patiently without giving easy answers.

「名選手、名監督にあらず」という言葉がある。
名選手が監督になると、現役の時に自分は簡単にできたので、選手ができないのが理解できない。
結論は、教えすぎてはいけないということだ。
なぜなら、選手や部下や生徒は自分で工夫しなくなってしまうから。
自分で工夫して、努力して、できないことができるようになった快感を味わうことが重要。
簡単に答えを教えずに、辛抱強く待つことが大切だ。
