使えればカッコいいけど・・間違えるとチョー恥ずかしい

What on the earth   ✖　➡　What on earth     
この earth は地球ではなく地面を意味します
What in the heaven ✖   ➡   What in the heavens   
hell は一つで haven は複数
What the hell   〇　　          
✖ What in the hell, What on the hell   にはなりません。

She looked like breathing fire.   
この文は正しい文です・・
　「彼女は火を噴きだしているようだった」という意味です。
She looked likely to breathe fire.
look (be) likely to do    は「〜する可能性がある」「〜しそうだ」　という意味です。

like  と  likely   は全く意味がちがうので注意が必要ですね。
次の２文の意味の違いがわかりますか？
① He is like my brother.
②He is likely my brother.    

①彼は僕の弟みたいなものです。 like ～のようだ
②彼は僕の弟の可能性がある　　 likely ～の可能性がある
