渋谷、原宿、表参道周辺に多く建設されている1964年から始まった元祖デザイナーズマンション・ビラシリーズのひとつ。入り口となる中庭には大きな木が立っており、街の中でも一線を画す圧巻のデザイン。築約50年だがバリバリ現役のオフィスビルで人の出入りが多いところが好きだ。入り口の回転扉の近未来的なデザインにも惹かれる。昔は住み込みのコンシェルジュがいたらしい。

Built in 1974 / 2 basement levels, 10 floors above ground, 162 units in total.

This is one of the original designer's condominium Villa series started in 1964, many of which have been built around Shibuya, Harajuku, and Omotesando. A large tree stands in the courtyard that serves as the entrance to the building, a stunning design that sets it apart from the rest of the city. I like the fact that although the building is about 50 years old, it is a very active office building with a lot of people coming and going. I am also attracted by the futuristic design of the revolving door at the entrance. It is said that there used to be a live-in concierge.
