数年前の1ポンドコインが型落ちで使えなかったので、イギリスの銀行に交換してもらいついでに、なんかこのコインも使えなかったんですけどと差し出すと、えっなにこれ、あっ、これはアメリカの1セントですねといわれました。寄付箱に入れるとかでもええんやでと言われました。

I had a two £1 coins from several years ago that were out of date, so I asked Lloyds in the UK to replace them and got new £2 coin today. Additionally I offered them this coin that was also unusable exchange. But I couldn't exchange. She said, 'Mmmm, this is an US cent". You could put this to the charity box.
