36人が死亡した京都アニメーション放火殺人事件で、殺人などの罪に問われた青葉真司被告（45）の裁判員裁判第22回公判が7日午前、京都地裁で始まった。検察側は「他に類例をみない大量放火殺人事件で、日本の刑事裁判史上、突出して多い被害者数だ。遺族らが受けた衝撃、怒り、悲しみは察するに余りある」などと述べ、青葉被告に死刑を求刑した。
