★コンセプト concept★

いちごはかわいい。
Strawberries are cute.

だから、いちごになりたい。
So I want to be a strawberry.

いちごを食べるとね、いちごになれるの。
When you eat strawberries, you can become strawberries.

目とか、髪とか。。。Eyes, hair, etc. .. ..

ほら、どんどんいちごになっていく。
See, it's becoming more and more strawberry.

★ストーリー story★

自分のなりたいものと同化できたら面白いかな、という
発想から。
It would be interesting if I could assimilate with what I wanted to be
From the idea.

いちごを食べることでいちごと同化してゆきます。
Eating strawberries will assimilate them with strawberries.

いちごは可愛いイメージがあるから大好きで、今回はぜひとも
いちごを食べさせたいと想い、食べる絵を制作しました。I love strawberry because it has a cute image, so by all means this time
I wanted to eat strawberries, so I made a picture to eat.

いちごをが光を発するようなイメージで可愛らしさを強調して制作したので、種の色もカラフルに塗りました。
I created the strawberry with an image that looks like it emits light, emphasizing its cuteness, so the colors of the seeds were also colorful.

今回は正面とは別の色で側面も着色したのですが、
側面が今いる世界、正面がいちごへ同化していく世界というふうに描き分けています。
This time, I also colored the side with a different color from the front,
The world where the sides are now and the world where the front is assimilated into strawberries are drawn separately.

ぜひ側面との違いをご覧いただきながら、このいちごを食べたら最後はどんな風に同化するのか想像して楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。

★制作過程　Production process★

木製パネルに下塗り材ジェッソと自分が大好きなピンクを塗り重ねてからヤスリで均しました。

I applied the undercoat material Gesso and my favorite pink on the wooden panel, and smoothed it with a file.

まずはいちごを下描き、着色。
First, draw a strawberry and color it.

次にいちごとのバランスを見ながら人物を描き、着色。
Next, draw a person while coloring the strawberries and coloring.

と、ここまでが正面の作業です。
So far, this is the front work.

側面は処理をどうしようかとても迷ったのですが。。。
On the side, I was very wondering what to do with the treatment. .. ..

正面に「beyond」を描いているなら、
If you draw "beyond" on the front,

側面に「now」を描いて、
Draw "now" on the side,

異次元に当たる「beyond」と「now」を同時に楽しんでいただけるのも良いな、と想い、側面は現実の色味で仕上げました。
I thought that it would be good to enjoy "beyond" and "now", which are different dimensions, at the same time.
