2018 September 30th. Typhoon 24 is approaching Tokyo. JR lines cancelled services from 20:00. And I'm at home, trying to enjoy the last of my sunady. 

I was supposed to attend a concert this ev. Originally, they decided just to start the concert earlier so as to give everyone enough time to return home before the dangerous part of the storm comes. Really thoughtful and considerate. The artists need to balance the financial hardship which will result from cancelling a concert, particularly rescheduling or refunding tickets, the feelings of the excited fans, many whom traveled far distances to be here, and the safety of everyone, especially themselves. 

And then JR made their announcement. Responsible and proactive. Due to some of the terrible weather and natural disasters occurring in Japan this past year, it seems like this company doesn't want to take any chances. They do not want the blame put on them in the case that there is an emergency situation. 

So, the concert was eventually cancelled due to JR limiting its operations. First the artists had rescheduled from 19:00 -> 18:00, and then -> 17:00, but in the end, it couldn't be helped. I am extremely grateful for the live house and artists for trying their bests to put on a show despite the storm. 

But, sitting in my room at 22:00, I can't help but feel some frustration.
