In a venue lined with huge screens, Vincent van Gogh's works were displayed in chronological order, accompanied by the powerful sound reminiscent of a live orchestra performance, creating an unparalleled sense of presence. The exhibition was enriched with numerous quotes from Van Gogh's correspondence with his brother Theo, providing a luxurious moment to savor his works. These quotes served as clues to deeply understand the intentions and messages embedded in Van Gogh's art, enhancing the emotional impact.

　この展覧会の体験は、表現者にとって大切な教訓も含んでいる。それは、伝えたい相手がいるかどうかが、表現の質に大きな影響を与えるということだ。私自身の経験からも、この真実を実感している。ビジネスにしても、まずは買い手を見つけることからはじまる。

　The experience of this exhibition holds an important lesson for creators: the presence of someone you wish to communicate with significantly influences the quality of your expression. I have come to realize this truth through my own experiences. In business, too, everything begins with finding your audience.

　最近、私は新しいインスタアカウントを開設した。ライフコーチとして、何か言葉を発信しようとは考えていたが、なかなか始めることができなかった。でも先週書いたニュースレターで気づいた。私は、「姪に哲学を持ってもらいたい」と思っていることに。その思いを動画と解説で毎日彼女に送り、そのままソーシャルメディアでも共有することにした。ゴッホがテオに向けて作品の構想を便箋に描いたように、伝えたい人がいることで、メッセージはより愛情を込めたものになり、他の人にも響くものに変わるのだろう。

　I recently launched a new Instagram account. As a life coach, I had been intending to share my thoughts, but had struggled to get started. However, a realization came to me while writing a newsletter last week: I hope that my niece will develop her own philosophy. I decided to send her daily videos with explanations, and to share these on social media as well. Just as Van Gogh sketched his ideas for Theo in letters, having someone specific in mind to communicate with can make the message more heartfelt and resonate more with others.

　伝えたいという思いは、私たちのコミュニケーションスタイルや創造性に新たな変化をもたらす。私たちは相手を深く理解しようと努め、その過程で自己の内面も豊かになっていく。そして、創造的なアプローチや革新的な表現が、効果的なメッセージ伝達には不可欠であることを学ぶだろう。

　The desire to communicate brings about new changes in our communication style and creativity. We strive to deeply understand the recipient, and in the process, our own inner selves become enriched. We learn that creative approaches and innovative expressions are essential for the effective transmission of messages.

　このような創造的なプロセスは、新たな自己発見につながり、他者への貢献や影響を通じて、自己超越の旅を経験させてくれる。他者のために何かをすることで、私たちはより広い視野を持ち、深い人間理解に到達し、人生における意義や目的を見出すことができるのだ。

　Such creative processes lead to new self-discoveries and take us on a journey of self-transcendence through contributing to and impacting others. By doing something for others, we gain a broader perspective, better understand humanity, and find meaning and purpose in life.
