“ウタヨミビト”の11thシングル『ムツノ花』は、“雪”の異称である日本語の古語「むつのはな」を題材にした和歌を「古今和歌集」からピックアップし、揺れる心模様を現代の言葉に置き換えた切なき冬の叙景詩。 “ポルトガルギター(ギターラ・ポルトゲッサ)”が奏でるポルトガル音楽“ファド”をベースに、沖縄の三線を由来とする新たな楽器”四線”の響きを融け合わせ、ユーラシア大陸を東西に遠く隔てた二つのサウンドを結び付けた郷愁感-サウダージ-溢れる独創的な音世界を展開します。

The 11th tune of UTAYOMIBITO "mutsu no hana -snow crystal -". Music arrangement of this song is based on Portuguese popular music "fado". We play it by the Portugal guitar called "guitarra Portuguessa"and to crossover the far eastern music culture, we also use the Okinawan-Japanese new music instrument "yonshin" which is developed from traditional sanshin. The lyrics sung in Japanese are improvised from the Japanese poetry called "tanka". The motif of this song is beautiful "snow crystal" which was written in the old collection of Japanese poetry "Kokin waka shu". The title of of this song "mutsu no hana" means snow crystal in Japanese archaic word. This word is derived from "Six petal flower" as hexagonal crystal of snow.
