NHKの人気番組「ブラタモリ」。12月3日の放送回は「静岡」です。
番組内容に「▽古代から千年以上も地域の中心！駿府城の中途半端に見える立地の驚くべき秘密とは？」とあります。
実は歴史愛好家である私の父が11月6日に静岡市番町市民活動センターで講座をした内容と重なる部分がございますので紹介させて頂きます。

Geopolitics in Shizuoka Part1
静岡における地政学　パート１

This map arranged by my father shows the Abe River in Shizuoka during the Nara period.
私の父が編集した地図は奈良時代の静岡における安倍川を示しています。

And the black broken lines depict the present river bank of the Abe river.
そして黒い破線が現在の安倍川の川岸を 表しています。

This indicates that the present residential place including the center of Aoi　Ward was situated inside the stream of the Abe River, which was over 2,000 meters wide.
これを見ると、葵区の中心部を含む現在の居住地が安倍川の流れの中にあったことが分かります。安倍川はこの時代、2000メートル以上の川幅がありました。

On the other hand, the orange circle on the map refers to an ancient local capital called ‘Kokufu’, where dispatched officials resided and had offices in the Nara and Heian periods.
一方、地図にあるオレンジの丸は「国府」と呼ばれるその土地の首都にあたる場所を示します。そこには奈良時代と平安時代、中央から派遣された役人が住み役所を構えていました。

The location is the present Sumpu Castle Park.
その場所は現在の駿府城公園です。

This place was chosen because it was in a slightly elevated area, making the location geographically advantageous.
この場所は微高地になっていて、地理的な有利性をもたらしていたので、選ばれました。

Even now, this area is an administrative spot in Shizuoka city.
今でも、この場所は静岡市の行政地区です。

People in Shizuoka were forced to live in small, limited areas near the Abe River to prevent them from receiving damages caused by the flooding.
静岡の人々は洪水の被害を免れるために、安倍川の近くの小さな限られた場所に住まわざるを得ませんでした。

To talk about the local history of the Abe River, focusing on ‘Inomiya,' which is still located in the Western part of Mt. Shizuhata, is important.
安倍川の地元の歴史を語るのに、現在も賤機山の西側に位置する「井宮」に注目するのは大事です。

This area also has Inomiya Shrine, which was established to be dedicated to a god of water named Sheoritsuhime.
この地域には、井宮神社もあり、水の神様である瀬織津比売(せおりつひめ)を祀るために創建されました。

There is an interesting record written by Imagawa Ujichika (the 7th head of the Imagawa clan in Suruga Province) on September 6, 1509.
（駿河国の今川家七代当主）今川氏親が1509年9月6日に書いた興味深い記録があります。
