忖度した結果、男は真っ黒に塗られた
タイトル写真は、２０１７年の映画「無限の住人」を紹介した映画.comサイトからの引用である。暗い後ろ姿だが、死なない男という設定なので、違和感はない。
一方、こちらは、講談社の漫画雑誌『月刊アフタヌーン』に載った、この映画の紹介記事の一部である。
「日本映画の最高到達点」と誇る写真記事の中に、雑に黒く塗られた何者かがいる。もう一つ、こんな写真も載っている。
主役だけがシルエットである。こんな映画紹介記事は初めて見た。
ウルトラセブンの主題歌のシルエットのかっこよさとは雲泥の差である。この映画の原作は漫画なので、漫画のキャラクターに置き換えたら、まだましだったのではないか。
この真っ黒なアイコンは、ジャニーズ事務所所属の、「キムタク」と呼ばれる人物である。
２０１７年当時、講談社は何に「忖度」したのだろうか？
『週刊文春』81年５月28日号に「大講談社をふるえ上がらせたメリー喜多川の“たのきん”操縦術」という記事が掲載された。そこには何と、メリーさんのこんなコメントが掲載されていた。
「許せません！ 『週刊現代』のあの記事は何ですか。…弟のジャニーが、ウチのタレントの男の子たちにヘンなことをしているなンて、中傷もいいとこ！」
「『週刊現代』の編集長が謝罪すると言ってきてますけど、わたし、許しません！ 講談社の『月刊少女フレンド』をはじめとする全出版物に、たのきんトリオをふくめたウチのタレントの写真掲載、取材は、今後一切お断わりします。なにしろ、少女雑誌の三分の一は、ウチのタレントのグラビアと記事でもっているわけですからね。それがどういうことを意味するか、十二分におわかりだと思いますけど」
つまりメリー副社長は、講談社の全出版物についてジャニーズタレントの協力を拒否すると通告していたのだった。その後、ジャニーズ事務所は、同様の手法でテレビ局や出版社に圧力をかけ、メディアコントロールを強めていくのだが、この講談社のケースはその典型だった。
「羹に懲りて膾を吹く」（あつものにこりてなますをふく）という言葉を思い出させる。３０年以上の長きにわたって忖度したのなら、相当熱かったのだろう。

１９９７年のpuffyの曲「 渚にまつわるエトセトラ」に、このような歌詞がある。

おそらく、作詞した井上氏はフォード氏から、歌詞に氏名を使うことの了解を取ったりしていないと思う。
しかし、例えば、
"止まり木にあのキムタクが
私たちはスゴイ ラッキーガール"
とかだったりしたら、ジャニーズ事務所から横やりがはいっただろう。
この歌は、ハリソンフォードだからしっくりくる。キムタクでは勝負にならない、と思う。

In 2017, what was Kodansha's "condescension" about?
In the May 28, 1981 issue of Weekly Bunshun, an article titled "Merry Kitagawa's Tanokin Maneuvering Techniques Shocked Kodansha'' was published.
Surprisingly, Mary's comment was posted there.
"I can't forgive you! What's that article in Weekly Gendai? It's a slander saying that my younger brother Johnny is doing strange things to our celebrity boys!"
"The editor-in-chief of Weekly Gendai has offered to apologize, but I won't forgive him! All of our publications, including Kodansha's Monthly Shoujo Friend, have featured our talents, including the Tanokin Trio. I will no longer be allowed to publish photos or do any interviews. After all, one-third of girls' magazines are made up of gravure pictures and articles about our talents. I'm sure Kodansha knows exactly what that means. ”
In other words, Vice President Mary had announced that she would refuse to cooperate with Johnny's Talent for all Kodansha publications.
After that, Johnny & Associates used similar methods to put pressure on TV stations and publishers, increasing their control over the media, and the Kodansha case was a typical example.
It reminds me of the phrase, "Atsumono ni korite namasu wo fuku" (A scalded cat dreads cold water"). If Kodansha and other companies continued to butter up Johnny & Associates for over 30 years, it must have been quite heated.

I think Mr. Inoue, who wrote the lyrics, did not receive permission from Mr. Ford to use his name in the lyrics.
However, for example, if the lyrics were "There's Kimutaku on the perch.
We are amazing lucky girls", Johnny & Associates would have sidelined him.
This song fits perfectly because it's Harrison Ford. I don't think Kimutaku can compete.
