集合団地に住んでいると、上下階の部屋の音が煩わしい時があります。

時々上の階から、パチンコ玉を床に落とすような音が聞こえます。
上からか下からか不明ですが、演奏者がイライラしているような感情をそのままピアノにぶつけているフレーズを繰り返し聴かされることもあります。

そのようなノイズへの対抗策として、無料のspotifyで音楽をかけたり、過去に自分が録音した音源を再生したりしています。

spotifyで感心するのは、新聞で紹介された、最近のクラシック奏者の音源を無料で再生できることです。私が大学生のころは、FM放送の予定表を載せた雑誌、例えば『FMレコパル』とか『週刊FM』とかがよく売れていました。読者はそれを見て、時間が来たらラジオ番組をカセットテープに録音したものです。この行為は「エアチェック」と呼ばれましたが、もうこの言葉も聞かれないですね。

今は、好みの曲を簡単に無料で聴くことができるのはありがたいことです。

最近、ラジオ日経の「Rani Music」というサービスも見つけました。これは、いわゆるディスクジョッキーなしに、日本や海外のポップミュージックを流し続けてくれます。時々、宣伝は入りますが、無料のspotifyよりも少ないです。

ところで、この記事に書いたように、Amazon Music Primeを使っていません。Amazon Music Primeのサービス内容が改悪された後、有料のAmazon Music Unlimitedのダイレクトメールが郵便で来ました。あざとい手口です。タイトル写真はそのチラシですが、乗り換えた人はいたのでしょうか。

Noise canceling sounds from above and below my house are not possible

When you live in a collective housing complex, sometimes the noise from the rooms on the upper and lower floors is annoying.

Sometimes I hear a sound like a pachinko ball being dropped on the floor from the floor above me. I don't know if it's from the top or the bottom, but I've heard phrases where the performer throws his frustrated emotions into the piano over and over again.

As a countermeasure against such noise, I play music on free spotify and play sound sources I recorded in the past.

What's impressive about spotify is that you can play the sound sources of recent classical players introduced in the newspaper for free. When I was a university student, magazines with schedules of FM broadcasts, such as "FM Recopal" and "Weekly FM," sold well. Readers would watch it, and when the time came, they would record the radio program on cassette tape. This act was called an "air check," but you don't hear that word anymore.

Now, I am grateful that I can easily listen to my favorite songs for free.

Recently, I also found a service called "Rani Music" on Radio Nikkei. This keeps Japanese and international pop music playing without the so-called disc jockey. Advertisements do come in from time to time, but less than free spotify.

By the way, as I wrote in this article, I don't use Amazon Music Prime. After the service contents of Amazon Music Prime were changed for the worse, direct mail of paid Amazon Music Unlimited arrived in the mail. It's a cunning trick. The title photo is the leaflet, but did anyone switch?
