この記事で書いたように、電子証明書の更新のために市役所に行ったら、新しい透明ケース（カバー？）を渡された。
しかし、今回のケースでは、マイナンバーを隠す灰色の部分がなくなっていた。

前のと同様に、性別と臓器提供意思の部分は隠すようになっている。

私より少し前に、電子証明書の更新のために市役所に行った家族に聞くと、新しいケースはもらわなかったという。

どういう事情があったのかわからないが、ちぐはぐな対応である。

以前に、「マイナンバーを他人に見せてはいけないけれども、他人に見られるのは構わない？」という記事を書いた。
あの頃は、マイナンバーの扱いについての情報が錯綜していたので、金庫にカードをしまい込む人もいたのだろう。

政府がデザインを変えたのは、マイナンバーは、性別と臓器提供意思ほどには重要でない情報だ、わかってよね、といいたいのでしょう。

銀行の口座番号程度に思っておけばいいのかもしれない。

The transparent cover of the Individual Number Card no longer hides the Individual Number.

As I wrote in this article, when I went to city hall to renew my digital certificate, I was given a new transparent case (cover?).
However, in this case, the gray part that hides the Individual Number was gone.

As before, gender and organ donation intentions are hidden.

When I asked a family member who went to the city hall to renew their digital certificate a while before me, they said they did not receive a new case.

I don't know what the circumstances were, but the response was inconsistent.

About two years ago, I wrote an article called "You must not show your "My Number" to others, but is it okay for others to see it?"

Back then, there was a lot of confusion about how to handle the Individual  Number, so some people probably kept their cards in safes.

The government's redesign means that people should understand that Individual Number is less important information than gender and organ donation intentions.

It may be best to think of Individual Number as something like a bank account number.
