　日本で
「1％の富裕層が残り99％を搾取する経済をどう思うか」
　と尋ねると反射的に
「けしからん！」　
　と答える人が多い。
 
　社会全体がそう答える同調圧力に溢れてるさかいわしの頭で考えへんねんな。それが社会正義やと信じてる人が多いさかい、周囲に合わせといたら村八分に遭えへんで済む。そう考える。
 
　こら小さい頃から学校で叩き込まれる日本文化に起因するようや。一人でも落ちこぼれた子ぉおったら
「落ちこぼれを救わんかい！」
　が合言葉になって、授業が全然前に進めへん。
 
　やけど、そら勉強をしたい浮きこぼれた子ぉたちにとっては許せる話ちゃうんでっせ。
「なんで真剣に勉強してる俺たちより遊び惚けてる奴らを優先するんや！」
　賢い子ぉたちは、その本音を隠す。落ちこぼれた子ぉたちのように大声を出したり走り回ったりはせえへん。ほんで、こっそり日本を見捨てて海外に脱出する。頭脳の流出はこうして起こる。
 
　うちはアメリカの中学校で教師をしてる時に、
「アメリカの中学校は日本の中学校と正反対のこと教えてる」
　と、驚いた。日本では規律を重んじて個人を抑圧するけど、アメリカでは自由を重んじて個人を解き放つ。
 
　日本では
「みんなそうしてる。キミも和を重んじるべきや」
　と教えるけど、アメリカでは
「みんなと同じことしとったら、生き残られへん。思うようにやらんかい！」
　と鼓舞する。
 
　最初の質問の答えだけど、日本人が「ケシカラン」て１％の有能な人を叩きまくってる間にアメリカ人はこう考える。
「その１％に入れるように頑張ったらええやん！」

　Many people respond, "It's outrageous!
 
　They don't think with their own minds because society as a whole is full of peer pressure to answer in this way. Many people believe that this is social justice, and that if they just go along with the others, they won't get ostracized. That's how they think.
 
　This seems to stem from the Japanese culture that is drilled into them at school from a young age. If there is even one child who fails out of school
"Let's save the dropouts!" became the watchword.
　becomes the watchword, and the class does not move forward at all.
 
　But that's not acceptable for the dropouts who want to study.
Why do you give priority to those who are playing around instead of those who are studying hard?
　Smart kids hide their true feelings. They don't yell and run around like the dropouts. They will secretly abandon Japan and flee abroad. This is how the brain drain happens.
 
　When I was teaching at a junior high school in the US,
"American junior high schools teach the exact opposite of Japanese junior high schools.
　I was surprised. In Japan, they emphasize discipline and suppress the individual, but in the U.S., they emphasize freedom and let the individual go.
 
　In Japan
Everyone does it. You should also respect harmony.
　But in the U.S.
If you do the same thing as everyone else, you won't survive. You have to do what you want!
　They inspire people to do what they want.
 
　To answer your first question, while the Japanese are beating up on the 1% of talented people because they are "keshikaran," Americans are thinking, "Well, if you try your best to be in that 1%, you'll be fine.
