🎆今日は、地元の花火大会の様子をお知らせします。

・川の名前は狩野川（かのがわ）といいます。

・The name of the river is Kano River.

・沼津へは、東京駅から南西へ新幹線経由で1時間ほどで着きます。

・Numazu can be reached via bullet train from Tokyo Station to the
　southwest in about one hour.

・この大会は夏の風物詩となっています。

・This fireworks display has become a
　summer tradition.

・今年の花火大会は、4年ぶりに観客席でもお酒が飲めて、食事も楽しめ
　るようになりました。

・For the first time in four years, this year’s fireworks show will also 　
　allow spectators to drink and enjoy food at the spectator stands.

・花火の種類は全部でいくつあるのか、私にはわかりません。

・I do not know how many types of fireworks there are in total.

・しかし、大まかに言えば、２つです。

・But broadly speaking, there are two.

・遠くからでも形によって区別がつくものと、川にかかる橋の近くでないと
　見えないものがあります。

・Some can be distinguished from a distance by their shape, while
　others can be only be seen near a bridge over a river.

・ナイヤガラの滝と呼ばれるものは、後者に属するでしょう。
・The one called Niagara Falls is probably an example of the latter.

・特に、花火を真下から見上げたい人、つまり臨場感を味わいたい人には、
   前売り券を買っておくことをお勧めします。

・We recommended that you buy tickets in advance, especially for
　those two want to look up at the fireworks from directly below, i.e.,for 　those who want to experience the realism of the event.

・前売り券を持っていれば、沿岸の土手に「桟敷」という名の観客席が設け
   られるので、そこへ座って鑑賞することができます。

・If you have an advance ticket, you can sit on a spectator’s seat called
　a “pier” on the coastal bank to watch the festival.
