Priority of a true human being... Body - Time - Money

I would like to note that this is a discussion about fundamental principles. It is not about philosophy or morality.

Someone was saying that the priority in life is money, time, and then health.

To live freely, according to this person, means to have the financial means to do what one wants and to allocate all their time towards those desires. Of course, the prerequisite for this is being in good health.

To achieve such a state, one must first acquire enough money to not have to work for a living. Once you no longer need to work for money, you can have the freedom to use your time as you wish. This structure also allows for time to be allocated for physical training.

I believe this is fundamentally correct, at least regarding human life.

However, it does not apply to the concept of a "true human."

For a true human, the priorities are health, time, and then money. By the way, when we talk about priorities, we mean the order in which they should be secured, not the inherent value or superiority.

When considering intrinsic value, time is the most precious. How one can allocate their time towards their desires and responsibilities determines the essence of life. Especially for a true human, who doesn't know when they will die, or when their time will end, they cannot help but be concerned about this limited time.

However, if the body no longer functions properly, everything comes to an end. No matter how much money one has, it becomes irrelevant. In fact, the ultimate form of the body no longer functioning is death, rendering time meaningless.

This may be said to apply to life in general, but during the period of human life, the body is generally able to move. Of course, there may be instances of illness or injury, but those are accidents, and usually, the human body is designed to endure throughout the span of life.

Therefore, it is natural to live without considering the body, taking for granted that it can move and be healthy. Thus, the order becomes money, time, and then heath.

However, this changes when one enters the period of a true human. The human body, as an animal, could be said to have already reached its expiration date. The body no longer moves on its own, gradually deteriorates, and fails to function as desired.

This change affects everything. When the body doesn't move as desired or experiences pain or discomfort, it not only affects physical well-being but also has a significant impact on the mind.

Generally, we tend to think of the body and mind as separate entities, believing that the mind holds superiority. But upon careful consideration, it becomes clear that it is not the case.

The body and the mind are indivisible; rather, it would be better to think that they are mostly under the influence of the physical body. If there is someone who claims they live by the spirit, asserting that they are not a lower existence like you, they should reconsider.

Let's say you suddenly experience severe abdominal pain. It's excruciating. In such a situation, can you think properly, with a sound mind?

If the mind and body were separate, and if the mind held superiority, regardless of the pain or even if your leg were severed, you would still be able to think rationally and carry on with your work as usual.

Although the extreme example of losing a limb or experiencing excruciating abdominal pain is rare, even on a lesser scale, such as feeling slightly unwell in the stomach or finding it burdensome to walk, it affects one's mental strength and motivation. Most of us have likely experienced this.

Personally, when I have a toothache, I cannot concentrate on thinking, and even if I try to maintain a positive mindset, it lacks vitality.

Claiming that the mind and body are separate and that the mind is the essence of a human is attributed to Descartes, I believe. "I think, therefore I am." Since then, have we taken the superiority of the mind for granted?

This is not to say that Descartes is at fault but rather that we are at fault for not thinking critically and validating it ourselves.

Anyway, during the period of a true human, the quality of life is determined by how well the body is maintained.

Therefore, the priorities for a true human are health, time, and then money.
