こうして、あなたがたは、神に愛されている子供として、神にならう者になりなさい。

Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

この聖句は、私たちは神に愛されていることを深く認識し、その愛に応答するように、神にならう者となることが求められていることを学びます。
1. 神に愛されていることを知る
神は私たちを愛し、永遠の命を与えてくださいました。この愛は、私たちが何をしたか、何者であるかに関係なく、無条件に与えられています。
神に愛されていることを知ることで、私たちは自己肯定感と自信を持つことができます。
2. 神の愛に応答する
神の愛に応答するには、神に従い、神に喜ばれる生き方をしようと努めることが大切です。
神の愛に応答することで、私たちは神との親密な関係を築くことができます。
3. 神の性質を学ぶ
神は愛、慈悲、寛容、正義など、様々な性質を持っています。聖書を読み、神を知ることで、神の性質を学ぶことができます。
神の性質を学ぶことで、私たちは神に似た者へと成長することができます。
4. 神の性質を実践する
神の性質を実践するには、周りの人を愛し、助け、許すことです。
神の性質を実践することで、私たちは神の愛を世に示すことができます。
私は、これらの実践を通して、私たちは神にならう者へと成長し、より豊かな信仰生活を送ることができるようにと祈ります。
 
We learn from this passage that we are called to be godly people, deeply aware that we are loved by God and to respond to that love.
1. know that God loves us
God loves us and has given us eternal life. This love is unconditional, regardless of what we have done or who we are.
Knowing that God loves us gives us self-affirmation and confidence.
2. responding to God's love
Responding to God's love involves obeying God and striving to live in a way that is pleasing to God.
Responding to God's love allows us to develop an intimate relationship with God.
3. learning about God's character
God has many qualities, including love, mercy, generosity and justice. We can learn about God's nature by reading the Bible and getting to know God.
Learning about God's nature helps us to grow into the likeness of God.
4. putting God's nature into practice
To practise God's nature is to love, help and forgive those around us.
By practising God's nature we can show God's love to the world.
I pray that through these practices we can grow into godly people and live a richer life of faith.
