皆さんは、世界にどれくらい貧困に苦しむ人がいると思いますか？
2022年には、世界で8億人以上の人々が1日1.25$未満で生活しているという結果が発表されました。貧困による影響は、飢餓や栄養失調・感染症など様々ありますが、健康被害にとどまらず「教育格差」「医療格差」「性差別」といった問題もあります。

もし、あなたが先進国に住んでいるのであれば、実際に貧困を目の当たりにし、知る機会は少ないかもしれません。ですが、先進国でも皆さんの知らない貧困がたくさん潜んでいます。

また、貧困はそれぞれの文化、歴史、社会、習慣にも大きく影響されますが、国ごとに違いはあるのでしょうか？
イベントでは参加者一人一人がこの問題について英語でディスカッションしながら一緒に理解していこうと思います。

この国際交流イベントは、アレックスソリューションズが主催するグローバル人材育成プログラム「GOAL」の第12回発表会としても行われます。今回このプログラムでは、研修生として世代を超えた日本人４名が参加。
SDGsの目標1「貧困をなくそう 」から、「見えない貧困」をテーマに、４日間かけて海外の学生と各国の貧困の状況とアクションについてディスカッションしてきました。
イベントでは、前半に日本人研修生の学習のまとめを英語で聞いてもらいます。後半には参加者全員で一緒にディスカッションしていきます。

Have you ever thought about Poverty in the world?

In 2022, it was announced that more than 800 million people live on less than $1.25 a day worldwide. Poverty has various impacts, including hunger, malnutrition, and infectious diseases, as well as issues such as "educational inequality," "healthcare disparities," and "gender discrimination."
Poverty is also greatly influenced by each culture, history, society, and customs, but are there differences between countries?
So let’s bring our individual knowledge together and let's think about it globally !

We invite you to the 12th presentation event of global talent development program "GOAL" hosted by Alex Solutions.
Four Japanese trainees have been discussing and comparing their vision of "Poverty" together with supporters from Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Israel.
This event will be the final day of the program and the conclusion of their presentation.
We will also hold an open discussion on the topic after their participation.
