"This is inspired by Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Honey Hi’ or ‘Tusk’. I think it’s about the feeling like you’re always on the cusp of fixing everything. Then I’d often feel like I’d just go and fuck everything up, or one of us would. //省略// There’s the lyric in there, "keep circling, can’t stop a circle" "But I keep coming back around" "At least I can’t keep coming back around" That again links to the title and the album art so clearly. It was: ‘I’m aware that I keep repeating myself and making the same mistakes, but at least I keep coming back around.’ I was wondering if that can be enough. And it wasn’t. But I think the song was the last glimpse of hope for my relationship in a lot of ways."
「これはフリートウッド・マックの”Honey Hi”または”Tusk（牙：きば）”からインスピレーションを得たものです。 常にすべてを修正しようとしているような感覚についてだと思います。 私は関係から一人勝手に出て行き、すべてを台無しにしてしまうか、それとも自分たちのうちどちらかがそうするしかないように感じることがよくありました。 //省略// ”I keep circling, can't stop a circle" "But I keep coming back around" "At least I keep coming back around"という歌詞がある通り、これも今作のタイトルとアルバムアートに非常に明確にリンクしています。「自分が同じ過ちを繰り返していることは分かっているのに、ループに陥り続けている」こと。それで十分なのかなと思っていました。 そしてそうではありませんでした。 でも、この曲はいろんな意味で私の関係性に対する最後の希望の光だったと思うんです。
