広島平和記念日に想う【2022.8.6】77th Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony
今日は広島平和記念式典が参列者も多く活気を感じる中、無事行われましたね。こちらは2006年のヒロシマです。The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony was successfully held today, with many people in attendance and a lively atmosphere. Here is a photo of Hiroshima in 2006.
現在はほぼ最前列まで日除け屋根（テント）が設置されていますね。2006年はこれくらいでした。これだけの年月でかなり顕著に地球温暖化が進んでいて心配です。At the ceremony, you now have several sunshade roofs almost to the very front row. It is worrying that global warming has become quite pronounced over all these years.
平和記念資料館。未来のためにできることを心の底から見つめる場所。Peace Memorial Museum. A place to look at what we can do for the future from the bottom of our hearts.
資料館にある立体地図。77年前の今朝、このT字橋の上空でたった一個の原子爆弾が投下され爆発しました。A three-dimensional map in the museum, showing how, 77 years ago this morning, just one atomic bomb, aka Little Boy, was dropped and detonated over this T-junction bridge at an altitude of 2000 feet.
夜になると灯籠流しが美しい太田川（元安川）で催されます。1日も早く核兵器廃絶が実現しますように。At night, a lantern floating ceremony is held along the beautiful Ota River - May the abolition of nuclear weapons be achieved as soon as possible.
