Voltes V

Hey there. How’s it going? Gentle Gian is here.

Today, I’m thrilled to share a fascinating topic: the famous Japanese anime songs in the world.

Last night, I watched a TV program about famous Japanese anime songs in the world with my husband.
It was a ranking show.

I’ve heard many foreigners into Japanese anime and its songs, though.
Unbelievably, although I wasn’t familiar with many of the songs that ranked in it, many foreigners could sing all of them when they were interviewed.
Holy cow!

Especially in the Philippines, “the anime” was very famous.
Its name was "Voltes V."
Unfortunately, my husband and I didn’t know that.

According to the TV program, it started broadcasting in 1977 in Japan and has repeatedly re-aired in the Philippines since 1978.
They also created a live-action version there.

Furthermore, they used its theme song for the election campaign.
It might be their soul song.

I wondered if my favorite online English teacher, N, knew about it and the song and if she could sing it, so I asked her in the class.
Her answer was, of course, yes, and she shared the MV.

She is a good singer, right?

If possible, I’d like to survey this topic around me soon.

That’s all for today. I’ll probably write about my trip next time.
See you around.
