A professional surfer?

I’d love to introduce my cheerful friend, who was from Tahiti and also spoke French.
If my memory was correct, he was fourteen-year-old then.In a word, “Naughty boy!”

He went to school by skateboarding and was a self-styled professional surfer.
He said he had some sponsors such as ”LOCAL MOTION” and so on.
I have no idea whether it is true anymore.

One day, on the way to school, skateboarding the same as usual, he fell and fractured a bone in his ankle.
After that, he needed to get a cast and walk with crutches.
Poor boy!

A few days later, he asked us Japanese to write some dirty Japanese words on his cast.
One of the Japanese students wrote “omaeno ka-chan debeso!” on it.
It is like a stock phrase in a child’s quarrel, and the meaning is “Your mom has an outie!”
He liked this phrase so much and screamed with a loud voice again and again,
”omaeno ka-chan devesso!”
It was so funny.

Talking about this phrase, they sometimes say that even during a sibling quarrel in Japan.
I guess they don’t realize to despise themselves.

Back to the topic of the Tahitian boy, he had more favorite Japanese phrases, but there is no way I could mention them here.
As if I badmouthed him, he was very friendly and could get along with anyone.

When we were at our favorite cafe, he said, “Someday, you all come over to Tahiti, then my mom will pick you up at the airport and run back and forth like a shuttle by her scooter.”
How kind of her, but how long does it take?
