おわりに

すみません、、、なんだか今回は翻訳が難しくて、自分でもよくわからなくなってきました（笑）まぁ大目に見てください。

この作品ではなにかを得ると何かを失うということを表現するために"power"が用いられているのかもしれません。

ある"power"を身につける（to gain）ことが、誰かを傷つけ、それに対抗する新たな"power"が生まれる。

あるものが生み出される影には、同時に歪が生じる。
それはまるで作用反作用の法則（law of action and reaction）のように、地上に住む僕らは逃れることができない。
なにかを得ればなにかを失う。
それはともすれば虚無主義的無気力感すら襲ってきそうですが、人生とは、"得ること"と"失うこと"をひたすら繰り返す営みのことなのかもしれません。

それをくだらないと考えてもいい。

その繰り返しでもって、弁証法的に自己を向上させる（その先に一体なにがあるのか？）ことを目標にしてもいい。

結局は僕らは自由であり、自由であるべきなのだ。

その自由だって、なにかとのトレードオフ（"得ること"と"失うこと"の繰り返し）なのだけれども。
