21日 ティエリーのワークショップ

今日からINVISIBLE DOG ART CENTERでティエリーのワークショップを受ける。彼はフランスの振付家です。

ワークショップ1日目の構成

• ペアを作る。一人がティエリーのダンスを説明し、もう一人がその説明に従って踊る（失われた記憶と失われた説明を想像し、埋める必要がある）。ペアはトリオになり、トリオはカルテットになる-春の儀式に沿った即興。このあたりは銅像が作れますよ』『このあたりはリズムが作れますよ』といった簡単な提案しかしない。

日本人はなかなか踊れない。でも、ここNYでは、彼らはあまりにも簡単に踊れるし、簡単にコラボレーションできる。これはいいことだけど、悪いことでもある。コラボレーションをすると、簡単につながることができるけど、誰かを見つけたときの感動がない。もちろん、これはダンサーのためのワークショップではなく、一般的なダンスに対する姿勢についてです。

生まれて初めてダンスをしたのですが、とても楽しかったです。

判断のスピードが速くなったと思う。そして、自分の動きたいという欲求だけに従って、スムーズに反応できるようになった。でも、同時に脳がクールで、空間全体の動きにある種のパターンを使えるんだ。

トレーダージョーズでの買い物。一週間の食費は40〜50ドル。

来年予定している中国人アーティストと話す。

21st aug Thierry‘s workshop

From today, I will take a workshop of Thierry in the INVISIBLE DOG ART CENTER. He's a French choreographer. 

The structure of workshop day1

- Make a pair. One describes the dance of Thierry and another one dances according to this description.(you need to imagine and fill lost memories and lost descriptions). sometimes the person who make description tell a lie.
-  Make a pair. One dance improvisation and other make direction 'statu(stop)', 'action','slow',speed, rewind, and repeat.
pairs become trio, trio become quartet.
-Improvisation along with the rite of spring. He only made a few easy suggestions such as 'this area you can make statues,' 'this area you can make rhythm'. 

Japanese people can't dance easily. But here in  NY, they can dance too easily and collaborate easily. This is good but also sometimes bad. When we collaborate, you can connect easily but there is no impression when you find someone. I think they need to stop more.(of course this is not the workshop for dancer, I mention about the attitude to dance generally)

I really enjoyed dancing for the first time in my life.

I think I improve that speed of judgment faster. And I can follow just my desire to move and react smoothly. But at the same time my brain is cool, I can use some sort of pattern for my movement for the whole space. 

Shopping in Trader Joe’s. I spend 40-50$for my meal in a week. 

Talk with the Chinese artist that we are planning next year. 

8月22日 プロスペクトパーク〜ティエリーのワークショップ

プロスペクトパーク。ベロニカと生まれたばかりの赤ちゃんマロと話す。ルシアナのワークショップでムーブメント・リサーチで知り合った。彼女の故郷ベネズエラ、ドイツ、メキシコ、カリフォルニア、そしてNYと、彼女のダンスの旅はとても長く魅力的だった。彼女は散歩が得意だ。得意、不得意はありますか？はい、私のチームメンバーのうち2人は散歩が得意です。彼らは楽しいことを見つけることができる。彼らと一緒に歩くと、この世界は魅力的なもので溢れている。ヴェロニカもまた、いろいろなものを見つけられるタイプだ。

ティエリーのワークショップ2日目。ストレッチの最中、彼は像を語り始め、それからワークショップが始まる。今日は、他者との関係性についてのワークショップだった。視線を保つこと、パントナーを探すこと、ブラインドウォーク、誰かを感じること。その後、3つのグループに分かれて振り付けをする。各グループにはリーダーがいるが、方向が変わると交代する。しかし、3つのグループでリーダーが変わるということは、混乱させるということであり、リーダーに従って他のグループに飛び込むことができる。そして、いくつかのグループに分かれることもあれば、大きなグループになることもある。

実は僕はそれが苦手なんだ。他の人の動きを追うのは難しい。

22nd aug Prospect park ~ Thierry‘s workshop

Prospect park. I talk with Veronica and her new born baby malo. We met in the workshop in Luciana in movement research. From start to Venezuela her hometown, to Germany and to Mexico, california then NY her dance journey was so long and attractive.
 
She is good at strolling. Is there good at or not? Yes, two of my team members are good at stroll. They can find something enjoyable. When I walk with them this world is full of attractive things. Velonica is also the kind of person who can find many things. 

Day2 of Thierry‘s workshop. I’m during the stretching he start to say statue, then workshop will start. Today more like for us on relationship with others. To keep eyes gaze, to seek the pertoner, blind walk and feel someone there. Then 3 groups choreography. Each group has leader but he is take place when direction is changed. But 3 groups had changed leader it means to confuse, you can follow the leader and Jump into another group. Then sometimes there are forms several groups and occasionally there is a big group. 

Actually I don’t good at it. It’s hard to follow others' movements.
