今週は月曜日から風邪気味が続いており、まだ体調が万全ではない中、
明日の朝9:30からのプレゼンの資料がまだ1ページもできておらず…
という、大ピンチな今夜です…😱

毎週金曜日の朝は、統計学の勉強会が有志で開催されており、昨年末から参加しています。様々なご縁があり、なぜか勉強会の司会進行を勤めているという不思議な状態ですが…笑

勉強会では、あらかじめ決められた課題図書をみんなで輪読するというもので、発表担当者は30分間で自分の担当に割り当てられた章をパワーポイントの資料で解説し、聴講者は質問や感想を言い合うという流れです。

皆さん学習欲が高く意欲的な人が多いので、僕自身も学びの刺激になっているのですが、さすがに今日のこの時間で明日のプレゼン資料が未完成（というか手付かず…）なのは大ピンチです…！

こういう時に限って、本業の仕事も繁忙期で先ほど帰宅できました。
オンライン英会話のレッスンは急遽週末に予定変更し、今夜はこの後の時間で明日のプレゼン資料の準備に取り掛かります…！

最近、英語の勉強が進んでいないのですが、イギリスまでの14時間のフライトも有効活用するぞ！という意気込みで、挽回しようと思っています。

7 days left until my business trip to the UK...!
I'm still sick and busy preparing for my presentation tomorrow morning 😂

I've had a cold since Monday this week, and while I'm still not feeling well, I haven't even finished a page of material for my presentation tomorrow at 9:30 am... 😱.

Every Friday morning, a study group on statistics is held by volunteers, which I have been attending since the end of last year. I have various connections with the group, and for some strange reason I am the moderator of the study group... lol.

In the study group, everyone reads an assigned book in a round reading, and the presenter has 30 minutes to explain the chapter assigned to him or her with a PowerPoint presentation. At the same time, the audience asks questions and exchanges their impressions.

Many of the presenters are highly motivated and eager to learn. Still, I am in a big pinch because my presentation material for tomorrow is incomplete (or rather, untouched...) at this time of the day..!

At times like this, my job is also busy and I've just arrived at home just now. The online English lesson has been hastily rescheduled for the weekend, and I'll use the time after this tonight to start preparing tomorrow's presentation material..!

I haven't made much progress with my English recently, but I'm going to study English on the 14-hour flight to the UK!
