今日は、教会ではクリスマス礼拝が行われます。
　リベカとアンニカは興奮した様子で教会へ向かっています。
　朝ごはんの時、ふたりは家族に向かって、とても興奮して昨晩の出来事を語りました。
「すごいの、部屋が光で満たされてね！」
「そのあと、部屋の中に羊の群れと羊飼いの男の子があらわれてね！」
「らくだと街の教会の方の神父さんみたいな人も出てきてね！」
「カールの家の馬小屋みたいなのも出てきた！」
　アンニカの家族は（おばあさんもその食卓についていました）ふたりが話すことを聞いて、それはクリスマスのお話だとすぐに分かりました。
「でね、赤ちゃんがいてね！　すぐにどんどん大きくなっていってね。お顔は見えないけれど、その人は輝いていてね、ベッキーと私のことをやさしく抱きしめてくれたの！」
「で、すぐに安心して、私たち寝ちゃった！」
「すごいね！」
「すごいね！」

　教会の鐘の音が鳴り響いています。
　今年のクリスマス礼拝の奇跡は、小さな街の女の子ふたりのもとへやってきたようです。
　その日の午後に行われた賛美集会では、リベカとアンニカはいつも以上にはりきって賛美をしました。賛美するということが少し分かったような気がしました。

「クリスマスおめでとう！」

Today, there is a Christmas service at church.
Rebecca and Annika were very excited as they headed towards church.
During breakfast, the two excitedly told the family what had happened the night before.
“It was so amazing! The room was full of light!”
“Then there were sheep and shepherd boys in our room!”
“There were camels and people that looked like the priest from the church in town!”
“And there was a stable like at Carl’s house!”
Annika’s family, including grandma who was also at the table, were soon to realize that the two were talking about the Christmas story.
“And there was a baby! He grew and grew! We couldn’t see his face, but he was shining, and he gave us hugs.”
“We felt so safe and fell fast asleep!”
“Wow, Amazing!”
“Astonishing!”

The church bells are ringing.
It seems that this year’s Christmas service miracle came to two girls in a small town.
At the worship gathering held in the afternoon, Rebecca and Annika were singing and worshiping more energetically than usual. They felt like they understood what it is to worship a little bit better.
