あなたがたによくよく言っておく。

どのような窮地に陥ったとしても　
あなたがたは神をあてにしてはならない。

なぜなら、あなたがたを救えるのは　
あなたがたでしかないからである。

つねに神はあなたがたとともにあり　
あなたがたが生きているということが　

そのなによりのあかしである。

そのようなあなたがたによって　
あなたがたが救えないとすれば　

ともにある神によってもまた　
あなたがたは救えないのである。
　

Gospel

Verily, verily, I say unto you.

Whatever pains you may face,
you should not rely on God.

For it is only you that can save you.

God is with you always
and it is the testimony unto you that you are alive.

If you can not save you,
even by God who is with you, you can not be saved.
