浅い眠りから覚めたばかり。
なにやら夢を見ていたようだ。

眠っている間に日は暮れてしまい、
すっかり夜になっていた。

起きて歯を磨き、顔を洗い、軽い運動をする。
それでも眠気は取れないのだった。

室内照明を消す。

窓の外は月明かり。
そんなに部屋の中は暗くない。

窓辺のソファーに腰かけ　
忘れつつある夢の映像を思い出してみる。

（灰色のドレスを着た案山子のような女）
また眠りに落ちそうな予感･･･

不意に大きな音が聞こえた。
それは鈴虫の鳴き声。

どうやら窓辺に一匹いるらしい。

ソファーに寝転び、目を閉じて聴く。
大きな音なのに、眠気は続いていた。

実感はないものの可能性として
この音も夢かもしれない

と考えてみた。

音はリアルでも鈴虫の存在はリアルではない。
この窓辺が夢と現実との境界面かもしれないのだ。

再び灰色のドレスの女の姿が見えてきた。

案山子の顔だから笑うこともかなわない。
やはりこのまま眠ってしまいそうだ。

それにしても、寝心地のよいソファー。

このソファーを窓辺に置いた記憶はない。
そもそもソファーなど部屋にあったろうか。

そう考えてみると、この部屋もなんだか空々しい。
あの案山子女の顔に似ている。

はて、どちらが本当の夢なのだろう。
案山子女、それともソファーのある部屋。

まあ、どちらが夢でも構わないが････　

そんなことを考えるせいか眠れない。
あるいは、もう眠っているのだろうか。

いずれにせよ、窓辺で鈴虫が鳴いている。
　

Cricket

I just woke up from a shallow sleep.
It seems that I had been dreaming of something.

between dream and reality.

Originally it was in a room such as a sofa.

Scarecrow girl or room with sofa?

Well, I do not mind which one is my dream...

I can not sleep because I think of such a thing.
Or are they already asleep?

Either way,
the cricket is singing at the window.
