ある事件が起きた。
彼はその被害者だった。

大けがを負った。
社会的地位を失った。
または、自殺して亡くなった。

そういうこともあろう。
よくある話だから。

ところで、可能性のひとつとして　
彼は私であったかもしれない。

または、彼はあなただったかもしれない。
今回、たまたま彼が彼であっただけ。

とすれば、そんな事件を起こしてはなるまい。
「悪いことをするな！」

この抑止力こそ、道徳の本来ではなかろうか。

Moral Theory

An incident happened.
He was the victim.

He was seriously injured.
He lost his social status.
Or he committed suicide and died.

That may be the case.
Because it's a common story.

By the way, one of the possibilities is that
he might have been me.

Or he could have been you.
This time he just happened to be him.

If so, do not cause such an incident.
"Don't do bad things!"

Isn't this deterrent the original morality?
