　「換気は?」
　「必要ない」

　「明かりは?」
　「いらん」

　「音は?」
　「立てるな」

　「においは?」
　「そのうち勝手に臭くなるさ」

息苦しくなってきた。

二番目の壁に耳を当ててみる。

　「もう逃げられないぞ」

　「ヘビが巻きついてるわ」
　「大きなクモが這ってる」

　「だめ。ミミズはきらい」
　「わあ、ゴキブリの大群だ」

　「いや。ヒルがお尻に」
　「背中にムカデが入った」

　「もう我慢できない」
　「やめるんだ。狂ったのか」

　「あら、意外とおいしいわ」

気分が悪くなってきた。

三番目の壁に耳を当ててみる。

　「ここに命題がある。
　『あらゆる事物は正当化できる』

　　これは次のようにも表現できる。
　『正当化できない事物はない』

　　仮に、正当化できない事物があるとする。

　　その事物をとりあえず消してみる。
　　すると、正当化できない事物がなくなる。

　　これでは結論そのままである。
　　だから、その事物を消してはいけない。

　　つまり、その事物は正当化できる。
　　よって、命題は証明された」

頭が朦朧としてきた。

最後の壁に耳を当ててみる。

　「足首が溺れてしまうから」
　「助けて。おねがい」

　「ワニの背中で研ぐと包丁が笑う」
　「ひどい、やめて」

　「引き出しの奥まで定規が這ってる」
　「いやよ、いやよ」

　「宝石を埋めた額縁ではない」
　「もうダメ。あたし」

　「空から滝になって天の川が落ちる」
　「ああ、死んじゃう」

死ねばいいのに、と思った。
