"When we were little girls, 
we had all the confidence in the world..
私たちがまだ小さかった頃、
みんな自身に満ちあるれていたでしょう？

We let our bellies hang out, and...
And we just dance and play
and pick our wedgies.
たとえお腹か出ていようが、
ただ踊ったり遊びまわって
パンツを食い込ませながらね

And then, these things happen and 
They just make us question ourselves.
ところがある事がきっかけで
自分自身に疑問を抱き始めるの

Somebody says something  
mean to you on the playground, 
and then we grow up 
and you doubt yourself
over and over again 
until you lose all that confidence, 
all that self-esteem, 
all the faith you started with its gone!
誰かが砂場でちょっとした意地悪を言ってくる、
成長しながらそれが繰り返されて
何度も自分を疑ううちに
全ての自信を失ってしまう
自尊心や信念も全て消えてしまう

But what if we don't let 
these moments get to us?
What if we were stronger than that?
Right?
でももし、そんな
経験をさせなかったら？
私たちがそれに打ち勝つ強さを持っていたら？
考えてみて？

What if we didn't care about 
how we looked！
 Or how we sounded！
 What if we never lost that little-girl confidence! 
どんな見た目だろうと関係ない、
どんな声だろうとね
子供の頃の自信を失わないで！

What if when someone tell us that we aren't good or thin or pretty enough
we have the strength and the wisdom to say
"'What I am is better than all that?
誰かに才能がないだとか可愛くないだとか
言われたら、私たちの強さや賢さは
もっと素晴らしいものよ！って言ってあげて

Because what I am is 'ME' !!
I'M ME!! I am proud to be me!!"
なぜなら、私だから！私は私。
自分自身であることを誇りに思うわ！
