みなさんこんにちは。
私の音楽ユニット Neural Chord が４月１１日と４月１８日にシングルをそれぞれリリースします。
今回は４月１８日リリースの「Fading Essence」の紹介です。

いつもは曲をリリースした後に、歌詞動画などを作るんですが、今回はプロモーション用ということで、フルサイズのMVを先行リリースしてみました。まだ私のYouTubeチャンネルには動画が3つしかないんですが、もし気に入っていただけたら、チャンネル登録もよろしくお願いします！

さて、MVの話に戻りますが、この映像はサイケデリックでシュールレアリスムが混じり合った、アシッドでメランコリックな感じに仕上がっています。この私のnoteに載せている画像の世界観をビデオで再現してみたのです。

音楽の方は、メタルです。Nu Metalでしょうか。特徴的なリズムと、なんとギターソロが２回もあります。1回目のソロはガツンとしたメタル調ですが、後半に出てくるソロは、一言でいうと、「ゆらゆら帝国」の坂本さんみたいな感じで、メタルでは珍しいスタイルを取り入れています。

"Sems no-nonsense trash metal to me right from the beginning. The first guitar solo sound seems surprising but nevertheless not disturbing. The vocal-bass intermezzo around 2:00 is original and surprising but die-hard rockers may skip the song because of it. "
最初から、私には、実直なトラッシュメタルのように思えます。最初のギターソロの音は意外に思えますが、それでも不快ではありません。2:00 あたりのボーカルとベースの間奏は独創的で意外ですが、熱心なロッカーは、そのためこの曲を飛ばすかもしれません。

"Good start, nice kick in but gets a bit repetitive after first minute instead of guitar solos i would focus more on the bass and vocal melodies"
良いスタート、いいキックインだが、最初の1分を過ぎると少し繰り返しになる。ギターソロの代わりにベースとボーカルのメロディーにもっと重点を置きたい。

かなり丸みのある曲で、特に声の攻撃性が気に入りました。曲全体のリズムに完璧にフィットしています。

"Really nice groove, definitely liked the instrumental. Vocals were well executed though as far as I can judge, even though it's not my favorite style. The breakdown fits really well, and the build-up back from that is really smooth. The rhythm change later does a great job escalating more, too. Not really anything negative to say, other than that the vocals aren't really my taste (I'd have liked more tonal/melodic)"
本当に素晴らしいグルーヴ。インストゥルメンタルは間違いなく気に入りました。ボーカルは、私の好みのスタイルではないものの、私の判断ではうまく演奏されていました。ブレイクダウンは本当によく合っており、そこからの盛り上がりも非常にスムーズです。後半のリズムチェンジも、さらに盛り上がるのが素晴らしいです。ボーカルが私の好みではないこと以外は、特に否定的なことは言えません (もっと音色やメロディーが良かったと思います)

素晴らしいニューメタルの雰囲気！ギターはミックスの中ではやや控えめですが、もっと前面に出ていればもっとよかったと思います。ボーカルは最高で、Soulfly と Meshuggah が子供を産んだような感じ！

私は最初の部分が好きでした。声もとても面白くて、曲の全体的なミックスが良く、ダイナミクスも良いです。私の観点からは修正する必要はありません。

すごい！目的を持った歌詞は、ほとんどのリスナーにとってあまり受け入れられない現実を浮き彫りにします。良いプロダクションで、ミキシングと音色が気に入っています。

"Interesting album artwork. Beat is energetic and rather catchy. Simple guitar parts. There are several vocal lines mixed that makes sound is rather dense. Good solo guitar part."

これはすごくかっこいい。ニューメタルのインストゥルメンタルがすごく好き。たくさんの曲が同じように同じことを言っているのを聞いていたので、この曲の歌詞にはすごく可能性があるけど、納得できなかった。でも、あなたのボーカルは素晴らしい。
