This series ‘Connect the Dots’ questions the concept of polka dots. Circles, points, and dots tend to direct our attention. However, having many dots placed in an all-around manner challenges the viewer to direct and disperse their focus. Pointillism reminds viewers that a whole is made from many tiny parts, as if telling us to appreciate the process that eventually led to the completion. This collection is a group of artworks inspired by Magical realism, which celebrates the mundane with an element of surprise waiting for the viewers to 'find out'.
