理科室で彼女を待っていた。

緑色に濁った水槽。空気ポンプの音。

いつまでも彼女の来るのを待っていた。
とうに待ち合わせ時間は過ぎていた。

テーブルの上、出しっぱなしの顕微鏡。
窓辺に運び、暇つぶしに覗いてみた。

「もう。遅かったじゃないの！」
こちらを見上げる彼女の怒った顔。

Science Room

I was waiting for her in the science room.
