頑張れば今日中に提出できるだろう。
そう考えていた。

ところが、別件で命令が入った。

もっと複雑な機構の機械部品について
図面を書き起こし、即日に提出せよ。

一つでも難しいのに二件同時は無理だ。
しかし、なんとかせねばならない。

ともかく寝ている場合ではない。
あわてて起床した。
