夏休みの個人記事の最終回です！これまでの6人の記事も読んでみてね

Recently I didn’t write any articles, so I will write after a long time.

This is the final individual article of this summer! Please check the other 6 members’ posts if you haven’t.

9月になって「本」がテーマになってからメンバーたちが好きな本とかいいなと思ったものを紹介してくれているので、今回はわたし、みずきにとっての本を紹介してみます。

「あーわかるよ」とか「そういう見方もあるんだね」とか、楽しんでくれたら嬉しいな。

This month, already 3 members wrote the articles related to “book”. This time, I, mizuki, will write about a “book for me”.

みなさん、夏休み楽しんでますか？

私は家の中でどれだけ楽しく過ごすか、そしてたまに出かける日をどれだけ楽しめるかということを考えて楽しんだ2ヶ月でした。2ヶ月あったと思うと長くも感じるけれど、これまでの夏休みと同じようにあっという間だったー

遠くにいる人に会いたいと思った時に簡単に会えないのは悲しいけれど、それでも会える人には会うことができた夏休みでした！

Are you having fun this summer vacation? I enjoyed thinking about how I would have fun even inside the house and how much I could enjoy the day I went out once in a while. TWO MONTHS seems too long, but it went really fast like other summer vacations.

It’s sad that meeting friends who are living far from my place is not easy though I could meet some of my friends this summer!

そんな2ヶ月、たくさん本読みました。今も読み進めているものがあるし、次読まれるのを待っている本たちもいます。図書館で予約の順番待ちしている本たちもたくさん。

私は図書館とか人から本を借りて読んで、その中でも繰り返し借りたり、何回も読みたい！身近に持っておきたい！と思ったものを買って家に持って帰ります。だから、ちょっとずつ自分の本が増えていく感じ。

本屋とか古本屋さんに行って気になるのを探して、衝動的に買ってしまうこともあります。たまにね。

家族も本をたくさん読むから、家族の中で借りたりすることも多くて楽しい。

In These two months, I read many books! I’m reading some books even now and I have many books that are waiting to be read. I’m on the waiting list for various library’s book.

For reading books, I usually rent from the library or friends and if I feel I want to read several times, I buy it. So I collect my books little by little. Sometimes I buy books for a chance.

Also my family read and have a lot of books so it’s good for lending and borrowing.

別府の家での本棚です。みてるだけでも幸せだったなー　I was happy looking at my book shelf of my apartment in Beppu.

私にとっての本は時間を楽しむものだったり、勉強する一つのアイテムだったり、新しいものと出会えたりと、本当にいろんな場面で活躍しています。その中でも「お守り」として持っていくことも多いかもしれない。

例えば、今年私は就活をしたのだけど、面接に行く時には好きな本を持って行って面接の前にちょっとだけ開いてみたり。面接を終えて家に帰るまでの道で、好きな本を読んでホッと一息面接を振り返る時間にしたりもしました。

この夏活躍したのは、江國香織の「冷静と情熱のあいだ　Rosso」と、rupi kaurの”the sun and her flowers”の2冊。江國香織の本はお気に入りがたくさんあるけれど、これは特に本の世界観に入り込めるから好きで、一回その世界に入って集中してから面接したりしました。イタリアに住む日本人のお話なのだけど、イタリアでの生活を想像してみたり、主人公の女性の気持ちになってみたりと、何回読んでも楽しめます。二つ目の方は英語の詩集。パッと適当にページを開いて短いものを読んだり、海外旅行中に買った本だったのでその時を思い出したり。

どっちも何度も開くお気に入りたちです。

For me, reading a book is spending good time, one of the items of study, or finding new things, so it can work in various ways. And I sometimes bring books as a “charm”.

For example, I did job hunting this year and I brought my favorite books to the interview as a charm. It made me relax when I opened it before and after the interview.

This summer, two books, “Between calm and passion-Rosso” by EKUNI Kaori and “the sun and her flowers” by rupi kaur, helped me a lot. EKUNI Kaori is one of my favorite writers and I have another favorite book of hers. This book is about a Japanese woman’s life in Italy. I always enjoy thinking about her life and her feelings. Second book is a collection of English poems. I bought it when i went to London so I can recall that memories and there are a lot of short poems that are easy to read in a short time.

この夏活躍した2冊　books that helped me this summer.

旅行に行く時には初めて読む本を持っていくこともあるけれど、なんども読んでいる本を持っていくことも多かったです。

初めていく場所でいつも読んでいる本を読むことで新しい見方や気持ちに気づいたり、安心できたりします。あー、遠くに行きたくなってきたー

それと、電車で本を読む時間も好き。人が入ったり出たり周りの景色は動いていくけど、私は一人で目の前のことに集中している感じが好きです。あー、電車の旅をしたくなってきたー　

When I go on a trip, I bring my favorite books more than new books. Once I bring my favorites and read them at a place I’ve never been, I can find new feelings and perspectives and mostly it brings me relief. I wanna go on a trip…

Also, I love reading on the train. I like the situation that the surroundings are changing but I’m concentrating on the things in front of me. I wanna take the train for a long time…

山でも本読んでましたね　I brought book to the mountain as well.

やる気を出したい時に読む本とか、何かアイデアが欲しい時に読む本とか、ざわざわした気持ちを落ち着けたい時に読む本とか。

これまで色々な本を手にとって、「〇〇なときに読みたい本」っていうのをたくさん見つけてきた気がします。

ちなみに、漫画も好き。小さな時は友達の家で読んだり、BOOKOFFで立ち読みしたりしていたけれど、20歳を過ぎてから少しづつお気に入りたちを集め始めました。まず迎え入れたのは矢沢あいの「ご近所物語」。大好きで何度も読んでます。「NANA」も大好き（これは姉が持ってます）。「天使なんかじゃない」も好きです。

I’ve always found many books for various situations by reading books. Need more energy, search for ideas, and make relaxing feelings and so on.

Actually, I love reading comics as well. When I was a kid, I didn't have comics at my house so I went to my friends’ house or BOOKOFF. However, since I became 20 years old, I started collecting my favorites and firstly I got ”neighborhood story” by YAZAWA Ai. I love this comic artist and I also like “NANA” which my sister had and “I’m not an angel”.

私は本を読んでいる時間が好きなので、できれば紙で、手元で自分で開いて読みたいと思っています。電子書籍も便利だし、それこそどこででも本の世界に入れる手段だけど、「重いなー」「今日のカバンには大きいかも」と思いながら持って行って読むのも私は好きです。結構いいよね。

I love the time when I read so I prefer the actual paper book not digital. I know that E-book is convenient and easy to bring anywhere but I feel having an actual book is good for enjoying time. Thinking like “it’s heavy” or “it’s maybe too big for today’s bag” is actually good. I hope so.

友達たちがどんな本を読んでいるのかを知るのも楽しいです。その人のことを知る手段の一つですね。

私にとっての本、何となくでも知ってもらえたら嬉しいです。

I’m enjoying knowing what kind of books my friends read and this is one way of knowing about that person for me.

I hope all of the above can show what a book is for me.

APUでは秋学期が始まるまであと少し！2021年もあと数ヶ月！
