みなさんこんにちは、Hanです
トロントではlockdownがはじまって
１週間がすぎようとしています
なんだか天気も良くないし、
友達とも会えてないし、
ため息が止まらない毎日です:(

前回カナディアンの彼とどう知り合ったか
ブログに書かせてもらったのですが
今回は初めてのデートについて書かせてもらおうと思います

First date

dating appで知り合ってから
２週間ほど連絡を取り合っていたのですが
私も彼もアートに興味があるということで
その時気になっていた
ゴッホのデジタルアート展に行くことになりました

初めて会うということで
私が一番不安に思っていたことは
自分の英語力です
まだトロントに来てから１、２ヶ月で
リスニング、スピーキングともに自信がありませんでした

なので彼と会う前に
私の英語力が乏しくとても不安だと伝えました
それに対して彼は
I wanna make you comfortable 
とのことで心配する必要はないといってくれました

いよいよ彼と会う日になったのですが
とっっっても緊張しました
その日はカナダのThanks giving dayで
昼は友達と会って
公園でpumpkin pieとturkeyを食べていたのですが
I'm so nervous
と言い続けていたことを覚えてます

またチャットから彼はいい人そうだと思っていましたが
一応dating appということで
友達には
12時までに連絡がなかったらホストマザーに電話してほしい！
と伝え、ホストマザーの電話番号を渡しておきました
念には念を笑

そして、美術館の前で彼と初めて会いました
とっても清潔そうで、上品そうな人だなというのが第一印象です
そして１時間ほどデジタルアートを見ました
その間も少し会話をしたのですが
緊張も重なりリスニングに苦戦しました
何度か理解できなかったり、
質問の答えになっていなかったりしたと思うのですが
そんな私に苛立つ様子もなく
彼はとにかく優しかったです

その後にバーに行きました
アルコールが入ったおかげで会話も捗りました
彼は私が話している間ずっと待ってくれることが印象的でした

そしてその日は９時くらいに帰りました
とっても安全なデートですよね笑
友達も思ったより早い帰宅で驚いていました

その後彼から
もしよければ次もまたデートできたら嬉しい
と連絡をもらいました
私も彼に対して好印象だったので
彼とまた会うことにしました

こんな感じで最初のデートは終わったのですが
デート中にこれは文化の違いなのかな
と思ってことが多々あります

まず常に彼がドアを開けてくれるという点です
これは彼だけに限りません
街中で、男女関わらず
誰もが次の人のためにドアを開けたり、
レディファーストしたりします
些細なことなのかもしれませんが
毎回毎回とっても嬉しいです

また、ストレートに服装とかを褒めてくれます
I like your tops!とか
You look cute!とか
ストレートにいつもいってくれるので
それも毎回毎回嬉しいです
ちなみにこれも
店員さんなどから言われることもあります
小さな喜びです

今回は彼との初デートについて書かせてもらいました
次回はデートの続きを書かせてもらおうかなと思います

Hi guys!
One week has passed since starting lockdown The weather has not been good and I can’t have seen my friends I’ve been depressed I can’t stop sigh

Anyway I wrote how I met the Canadian before so I’m gonna write about the fist date with him on this blog

I had kept in touch with him for 2 weeks since matching We knew we were interested in art so we decided to go to the digital art exhibition of Gogh for the first date

First of all, I was worried about my English skills I had studied English for 1 or 2 months so I didn’t have confidence at all so before meeting him I told him about it and he said he wanted to make me comfortable so don’t worry about it 

Actually I was really nervous to meet him I’ve remembered the day still now it was Thanks giving day in Canada I had met my friend before then and eaten a pumpkin pie and a turkey I couldn't help stopping saying to my friend “I’m so nervous”

In addition to it, I thought he was nice from our chat but I told my friend if I don’t text her over 12am plz call my host mother and I gave her phone number just in case

Finally I met him First impression, he looks neat and kind We had seen the digital art for one hour While then we talked a little However, listening was tough beside nervous I couldn’t understand some times and I couldn’t answer well but he was not annoy me at all He was really kind

Then we went to the bar Because of alcohol I could talk a lot lol and we got home around 9pm After the first date, he asked me to go out as a second date I had a good impression to him so I answered Yes 

I was surprised some things during the dating I thought they were from different culture
He opened a door for me every time but not only him Almost all people in the city do like that for next person I’m glad every time And he praised my clothes straightly I’m also glad every time 

My first dating was like that On next blog I’m gonna write about after the first date I’m glad if you read it !
