当社は15年前からウルシ苗の植栽活動を行っています。現在は岩手県内だけではなく範囲が広がりつつあります。

漆は日本を特徴づける文化の一つです。もし漆がなかったら日本の文化は相当違ったものになっていたでしょう。ささやかながらこの漆文化を将来の世代へ繋ぐための活動を続けていきたいです。

その一環として、6年前から新たな漆採取の研究を始めています。漆掻きという手法があらゆる課題の相当部分にかかわるボトルネックになっていると考えているからです。

まずは木がないと何も始まりません。せっかく時間をかけて育てた苗木を植えてもシカに食べられたり、伐採されたり、最近心が折れることばかりですが、負けずに頑張って参ります。

We are always happy to accept your donations for planting funds and urushi research.
We have been planting urushi tree seedlings for 15 years. It is spreading not only in Iwate Prefecture but also throughout the Tohoku region in Japan.
Urushi is part of Japanese culture itself. If without urushi, Japanese culture would be very different. Our activities are aimed at passing on urushi culture to future generations.
Six years ago we started researching new ways to collect urushi.
Recently, we have had many heartbreaking incidents, such as deer eating the buds of trees we planted and trees being cut down, but we will continue to do our best to avoid damage caused by animals and man-made disasters.
