気づいたらもう1月も終わり・・早すぎやしませんか？

今日は『日本人であることを誇りに思った話』をしたいと思います。

先日、小学生のある行動がシンガポールで話題になりました！

"横断歩道を渡る子供たちが手をあげて、とまってくれた車に対して頭を下げました"

こんなの当たり前じゃ・・？と日本人なら思うかもしれませんが、

シンガポールではそのドライブレコーダーの映像が一気にSNSで話題となりました！

どうやらリー首相の奥様、ホーチンさんもこの記事をシェアしている様です。

さらに気になるのは、その記事を見たシンガポーリアンの反応。

"こんなことできるのは日本人に決まってるよ！"

"この子達の親はきっと日本人なんだろうね。"

と日本人称賛の声、多数！！！

なんだか嬉しくなってしまいました＾＾

日本人にとっては感謝を伝えるためにお辞儀をするのは普通だけれども、

他の国では違うのか〜と改めて日本の文化を誇りに思いました。

息子が大きくなったら、お辞儀しっかり教えよう〜っと。

I would like to talk about “An event that made me proud to be Japanese”.

The news is that when a car gave way to a schoolchild, the child crossed the street while bowing to the car!

In Japan, this is a common custom, but in Singapore, it seems to be rare.

This news was spread on social media.

People's comments on that are..

"It must be the Japanese who do this."

"Those kids must be Japanese."

When I saw those comments, I felt proud to be Japanese!

I realised that there is a lot of good culture in Japan!

When my son grows up, I want him to learn to bow when thanking others!
