１）私のお洒落感(My sense of fashion)

まずは僕が今現在、好きなモノを思いつくままに書き連ねてみましょう。
First of all, let me write down what I like at the moment as I can think of it.

コムデギャルソン、2001年宇宙の旅、白い家具、SPACE1999、Depeche Mode、1970年の大阪万博、ブレードランナー、David Bowie、レトロな電卓、黒川紀章、ロボット、スペースエイジ、エレクトロミュージック全般、日本酒、ロッキーホラーショー、アブサン、ピエールカルダン、ワイン、サイバーパンク、ウイスキー、SF映画、デザイン、禅文化、トロン、銀座、ヨウジヤマモト、青山、New Wave、新宿、ディオール、サンローラン、おもちゃ、謎の円盤UFO、ゲーム、香り、サカナクション、The Orb、808 State、Beach House、コロンボ、コラーニ、シドミード、Perfume、真鍋博、ロラン・バルト、銀河英雄伝説、トミー、スーパーカー、ジャンポールゴルチエなどなど。

上記を時代ごとにまとめると、７０年前後の未来的な建物、プロダクトデザイン、インテリア、映画、TVドラマ、８０年代以降のイギリスのNew Waveやエレクトロミュージックが多いんです。それにギャルソンやヨウジなどパリコレで活躍してきた日本のデザイナーの作る刺激的なデザインの衣装や小物に影響を受けてきました。

If I summarize the above by period, I can see that there is a lot of futuristic buildings, product design, interior design, movies, TV dramas from around 1970, New Wave in the UK since the 80s, and ,Electro music from the 80's onward. I have also been influenced by the stimulating designs of costumes and accessories created by Japanese designers who have been active in the Paris Collection, such as COMME des Garçons and Yohji Yamamoto.

僕のお洒落感というのはそんな感覚で出来ています。
別の言い方をすれば、スペースエイジ、レトロフューチャーを軸にした宇宙的なインテリアがある部屋で暮らし、そこでは最新のデジタル家電に囲まれてエレクトロミュージックが流れ、そんな空間でミニマルな衣装で暮らすというのが理想的だと思っています。僕の場合は、それをバランス良く実現することが日々のワクワクに繋がる原動力になっています。

My sense of fashion is made up of such senses. To put it another way, I think it is ideal to live in a room with a space-age, retro-futuristic interior, surrounded by the latest digital appliances and electro music, and to wear minimalist outfits in such a space. In my case, achieving a good balance between the two is the driving force behind my daily excitement.

2) 私の悩み(My concerns)

そんなスペースエイジでレトロフューチャーな生活を日々妄想しているのですが、例えば、建物は見て楽しむことが出来ます。インテリアは好きな家具を購入して配置したりすることが出来ます。あるいはそんなスペースエイジなお店が近くにあれば通ってみれば、ハッピーな気持ちにはなれます。

それだけではダメなのです。僕にはある大きな悩みがありました。
何だと思いますか？

ファッションです。それは未来的で宇宙的なファッションです。
インテリア、音楽、ファッションを有機的に繋げたスペースエイジ生活に憧れているのに、未来的なファッションが足りないぞ！と。
ギャルソン、ヨウジ、マルジェラなど好きなファッションは多々ありますが、普段使い出来るスペースエイジなファッションアイテムが少ない！スペースエイジ的なミニマル、無機質なアクセサリーが少ない！

いろんなブランドの春夏、秋冬をそれなりにチェックしていても、これだと思うものはなかなか出てきません。継続的にスペースエイジなファッションアイテムを出すブランドがない、少ない、どうすればいい？

I fantasize daily about such a space-age, retro-futuristic lifestyle. For example, you can enjoy looking at the futuristic buildings. You can buy and arrange your favorite furniture in the interior. Or, if there is such a space-age style bar nearby, you can go there and feel happy.
But that is not enough. I had a big problem. Guess what it is?

Fashion! It's futuristic and cosmic fashion! I long for a space-age lifestyle that organically links interior design, music, and fashion, but futuristic fashion is missing! There are many fashions I like, like COMME des Garçons, Yohji, Margiela, but there aren't enough space-age fashion items that I can use on a daily basis! There are not enough space-age minimalist, inorganic accessories!

Even though I check various brands' spring/summer and fall/winter collections to a certain extent, it is difficult to find what I think is the right one. There are no or few brands that continuously produce space-age fashion items, what should I do?

３）ブランドを作り自分でデザインしてしまえ！(Create my own brand, design it myself!)

そう思ったのは2016年だったと思います。　とにかく欲しいものがなければ自分が作ればいいじゃないかと、素直に行動し始めました。

そんな時だったからかもしれませんが、三人の革職人系師匠に出会いました。元来デザインが大好きだった僕はそんな師匠達に鍛えられながら、自分の描くデザインをレザー製品にするプロセスを学んできました。そして自分のために作成したレザーアイテムを見たいろいろな方々から、こういう鞄が欲しい、こういう財布を作って欲しいとの依頼も少しずつ増えてきました。ハイブランドにお勤めの方々からの個人的なオーダーもいただけるようになりました。
そんな経緯の中で「宇宙都市のモダンスタイル」モッドソニックを立ち上げました。

「自分が欲しいものがないならば、自分でデザインして作ってしまえ！」そこがモッドソニックを立ち上げた原点です。

I think it was 2016 when I thought that.　Anyway, I started acting honestly, thinking that if I didn't have what I wanted, I should just make it myself. Maybe it was because it was at that time that I met three leather craftsmen masters. I had always loved design, and under the training of these masters, I learned the process of turning my own designs into leather products. I have received an increasing number of requests from people who have seen the leather items I have created for them, asking me to make them into bags or wallets of their own design. I also began to receive personal orders from people who work for high brands. It was through this process that we launched "Space City Modern Style" modsonic.

If there is nothing you want, design and make it yourself! That is the starting point of modsonic.

４）スペースエイジなレザーアイテムが欲しい僕のような皆さん！　モッドソニックが正式に動き出します！(For all of you like me who want space-age leather items! modsonic is officially on the move in space city!)

モッドソニックの商品企画とそのデザインは僕がしていますが、商品制作やロゴデザイン（SIDさん）などは複数のモッドソニックス（モッドソニックを支持してくださる熱いチームメンバー）に強力に支えられています。

モッドソニックやその商品を通じて、世界中の僕と似ている趣味嗜好の方々と出会えたら楽しいだろうなと思いながら、オンラインショップオープンに向けて準備をしています。それではまた！
