【経歴・バックグラウンド】

私は父がコンピュータープログラマーだったこともあり、非常に若い頃からコーディングの世界に触れてきました。私の父は、私に直接コーディングを教えるのではなく、問題解決者としてのスキルを早い段階から養うように導いてくれました。

早いころからコーディングに興味を持っていた私は、オレゴン州立大学に進学し、コンピュータサイエンスを学びました。
プロのキャリアをJava 8でスタートしましたが、やがて広大でダイナミックなJavaScriptエコシステムに魅了されました。

それをきっかけに、私のキャリアへの道筋が定まっていきます。初期のスタートアップに加わり、刺激的な働き方をしたい、エンジニアとして前進していきたいと考えるようになりました。
アイデアを具体的な製品に変えるプロセスは非常に興奮を覚えます。これらの年月、信じられないほど素晴らしいチームと人々と一緒に仕事をする機会に恵まれ、多くのことを学びました。フルスタック開発者として、さまざまなソフトウェアソリューションに取り組む機会がありました。

【転職の理由】

転職を検討する際、多くの要因を検討しました。何よりも、成長と学びへの欲望が最も重要でした。

また、会社が取り組んでいる仕事と用いられる先端技術には興味がありました。単に会社で働くこと、というだけでなく、自分の内なるエンジニアとしての情熱と共鳴するビジョンとミッションがある会社を探していました。

Sportaでの毎日はとてもエキサイティングです。初めて参加したときと同じ興奮が今も続いています。ここは創造性に溢れた環境です。常に新しいアイデアを考える、推進する革新的な考え方があり、私を常に刺激してくれます。独自のアイデアを出し、革新的な解決策を提案し、それらが形になっていくのを見るのは、非常に充実感があります。

私の現在のSportaでの挑戦は、とても魅力的だと感じています。現在取り組んていることは、広範な処理をシームレスに、そして堅牢に行えるシステムを構築することです。

A Brief Dive into My Background

I was introduced to the world of coding very early, as my father was a computer programmer. He didn’t teach me to code, as much as he trained me to be a problem solver early on. I studied computer science at Oregon State University. I started my professional career working with Java 8, but I was soon enticed by the vast and dynamic JavaScript ecosystem. Since that pivot, I've never looked back. I have always been captivated by the thrill that early stage startups bring to the table. The process of giving life to an idea and molding it into a tangible product is exhilarating. Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to work with some incredible teams and people, whom I have learned a lot from. As a full stack developer, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of different software solutions.

Why the Shift?

When contemplating a job change, there were numerous factors I considered. But, above all, my thirst for growth and learning remained paramount. I was genuinely fascinated by the cutting-edge technology the company was diving into. It wasn't just about joining another company; it was about aligning myself with a vision and mission that resonated with my inner tech enthusiast.

The Experience So Far

Every day at Sporta has been a testament to the excitement I felt when I first joined. The environment here is ripe for creativity. There's an underlying current of innovation that keeps me on my toes, always pushing me to think outside the box. The freedom to be inventive, to pitch in with radical solutions, and to witness them take shape is immensely fulfilling.

Looking Forward: The Current Challenge and Beyond

My current endeavor is both ambitious and intriguing: building a robust system that can seamlessly handle extensive processing. Our goal is to provide unmatched value to team admins, ensuring they have the best tools at their disposal. It's a challenge, but it's precisely these kinds of challenges that make my journey at Sporta so enriching.
In the long run, I aim to continue growing, learning, and contributing to Sporta's success. The tech world is ever-evolving, and I'm eager to evolve with it, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve and continue delivering top-notch solutions.
