なんで、政治家・官僚・マスコミ、みんな、バランスシート志向・ストック志向になるんでしょうね？

関東大震災と第二次世界大戦によって、日本の経済的資源となるストックは半分近くが消滅したと言われます。が、その後、どうなりましたか？日本は高度経済成長に突入し、フローとしてのGDPは毎年10%近く増えていく好況になりました。

もちろん、高度経済成長など、少子高齢化の現代では不可能です。しかし、「国の、シャッキンがー！」ばかりいって、フローを増やす議論が正確になされないのは、本当に国益を損なうことだと思います。

戦争をまったく肯定するつもりは、ありません。人が亡くなる戦争など避けるべきです。しかし、様々な事情から、日本はアメリカと戦って、負けました。

この過程で、ゼロ戦などの戦闘機や、空母をつくる技術者が大量に育成されました。この技術者は、戦後は自動車業界などで活躍しました。

アメリカ軍による徹底的な空襲によって、東京・大阪・名古屋・広島などの大都市にある工場は壊滅しました。しかし、戦後復興によってふたたび工場は再建されました。

ストックのモノは、またつくればいいんです。問題は、技術者です。

今の日本は少子高齢化によって、史上最悪の人手不足となり、これがボトルネックになります。

実際、TSMCの熊本県進出でも、技術者が足りない状況です。せっかくチャンスがあっても、人がいないのです。

「国の、シャッキンがー！」ではなく、人手不足をどうするか、なのです。

Why do politicians, bureaucrats, and the media all become balance sheet-oriented and stock-oriented?

It is said that nearly half of Japan's stock of economic resources disappeared due to the Great Kanto Earthquake and World War II. But what happened after that? Japan has entered a period of high economic growth, and the economy is booming, with GDP as a flow increasing by nearly 10% every year.

Of course, high economic growth is impossible in this era of low birthrate and aging population. However, I think it is really damaging to the national interest if we just say, "The country's debt is so high that we're in trouble!'' and don't properly discuss increasing the flow of money.

I have no intention of endorsing war at all. We should avoid wars where people die. However, due to various circumstances, Japan fought against America and lost.

During this process, a large number of engineers were trained to create fighter aircraft such as the Zero Fighter and aircraft carriers. This engineer was active in the automobile industry after the war.

Due to thorough air raids by the American military, factories in major cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Hiroshima were destroyed. However, the factory was rebuilt again after the war.

If you have something in stock, you can just make it again. The problem is with the engineers.

Japan is currently experiencing the worst labor shortage in history due to the declining birthrate and aging population, and this is becoming a bottleneck.

In fact, even though TSMC has expanded into Kumamoto Prefecture, there is a shortage of engineers. Even if you have a chance, there are no people.

The question is not, "The country's debt is so high that we're in trouble!'' but rather, what to do about the labor shortage.
