優しい人になりたいと
言葉の刃に筒を被せ
それをいつも背中に隠していた
僕は卑怯な臆病者だから
きみの言葉さえも
避けて見送るように受けていた

独り暮しの部屋の中は
テレビもステレオも
スイッチひとつで
勝手に話し出してくれるけど
孤独感という厄介者も付きまとう
古里って云う古びた言葉は
錆びて回らなくなってしまった

懐かしささえ感じてしまうのは何故だろう

いつもおんなじことを

今日は何故だか人恋しい
