「デザインと倫理」この本の一章を執筆しました。とても重要なテーマですが、関連書籍が少なく、教科書になるような本がありませんでした。そこで、オーストラリアの大学でデザイン・建築を教えている先生方が中心になって、この本が出版される運びとなりました。このトピックはいわゆるデザイナーだけでなく、環境問題・都市計画の専門家、自治体担当者、企業の経営戦略担当者など、多くの分野の方に関係のあるコンテンツだと思います。

実は他の執筆者の章をまだ読めていません。一緒に勉強するような形でオンラインサロンの開催を考えています。オフ会は基本的に京都・大阪・神戸で開催予定です。でも、会員が増えたら他の地域での開催も検討してみます。また、テーマに関するツアー、企業訪問、見学会も現在関係者と協議中です。

要点は以下の３つのようです。
★息の長いコミュニティは定期的なコンテンツ発信の場をもっている
★コミュニティで重要なのはそのコミュニティの「共通言語」
★人同士が集まっても、共通言語がなければ新しいものを生みだせない
